Who I Am

I am Muhammad Zaigham, a self-taught web developer and indie maker from Pakistan. I go by MZift online, a name that represents my approach to building: fast, focused, and functional. I started coding because I wanted to solve real problems, not chase trends or build things that collect dust. Every project I ship has a purpose, and every line of code I write is meant to make someone's life a little easier.

My Journey

My journey into web development started with curiosity. I wanted to understand how websites worked, so I taught myself HTML and CSS. From there, I moved into JavaScript, PHP, and Python. I did not follow a traditional path or attend a bootcamp. Instead, I learned by building. Every project taught me something new, and every failure pushed me to improve. Over time, I developed a strong understanding of both frontend and backend development, along with a deep appreciation for clean, maintainable code.

What I Do

Today, I specialize in building free web tools that serve real users. My portfolio includes a UTM link builder that attracted over 600 visitors in its first month, a Holy Quran reader with color-coded Tajweed that reached 1,500 visitors within three months, a Hijri calendar that gained 300 visitors in its first week, and several other tools that people rely on daily. I build with PHP, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript as my core stack, and I am comfortable working with WordPress, Elementor, and custom plugin development.

My Philosophy

I believe in building tools that are free, fast, and accessible to everyone. I do not hide features behind paywalls or force users to create accounts just to use a simple tool. My philosophy is simple: if a tool solves a problem, it should be available to anyone who needs it. This approach has helped me build a growing audience of users who trust MZift for their daily needs.

The Indie Maker Life

As an indie maker, I wear many hats. I design the interfaces, write the code, handle the deployment, manage the servers, and interact with users directly. This gives me a unique perspective on what users actually need versus what developers think they need. I ship fast, iterate based on real feedback, and never stop improving. Every tool I build is a reflection of this mindset.

Beyond Code

Beyond coding, I am passionate about making Islamic resources accessible through technology. My Holy Quran reader and Digital Tasbeeh projects are close to my heart because they combine my technical skills with my desire to contribute to the Muslim community. These are not just projects on a portfolio; they are tools that people use in their daily worship.

What’s Next

Looking ahead, I plan to continue building and shipping useful tools. I am always exploring new technologies and finding ways to improve my existing projects. Whether it is optimizing performance, adding new features, or launching entirely new tools, I am committed to growing MZift into a trusted platform for free, high-quality web tools. If you have an idea for a tool or want to collaborate, I would love to hear from you.
